Wonderful hotel. We have stayed here twice now. Ample parking, very large rooms, amazing location for handiness to the a1 and Northumberland coast. Breakfast was delicious – especially the fresh orange juice you make yourself

Great place to stay, very handy for getting around Alnwick. The rooms are an excellent size, really comfortable and warm. The bar area is lovely and cosy, very tasty and breakfast which was buffet style with plenty of choice and really good quality. The staff are so friendly.

Stayed here for a golf break, with the Hogs Head Inn being our base. The rooms were a good size, standard twin layout, good size, good facilities (tea, coffee, biscuits etc) Shower was excellent, iron, ironing board etc. If you chose not to have room service you could claim a free drink at the bar. Good idea! Couldn’t hear any noise from the A1. Customer service was spot on for the three days we were there.
